Do you suffer from WPS or SAD?



Winter Perception  Syndrom (W.P.S) 

This blog was done on Tuesday last week you know that freezing cold one were we all know that we don't want to get out of bed! & as I read the paper today I could not believe that this actually existed I truly did not know (silly me) it is actually called S.A.D/ Seasonal Affective Disorder (here is article I have found about it http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/lifestyle/tired-grumpy-always-hungry-why-grey-skies-syndrome-may-be-to-blame/story-e6frf019-1226606677015

Now I would love to share two of my tips to beat WPS Winter Perception Syndrome
  • Write 10 things that you enjoy, makes you feel good, & what U  love about winter, a rainy day, grey day or even about a hot day if you don't like it . Jot them down & put them on the fridge. Here are some of mine for a cold wintery day & what i love about them                                  HOT drinks!               SOUPS                     BAKE                      JEANS                     BOOTS MOVIES 

cool so now that we have changed the perception  let's look at some tips to how we can stay on track so that you can reach your Goals during this upcoming winter if you suffer from WPS 

  • Change your Goal date- Bring it forward to motivate you more so instead of October bring it to August! 1t will get you to your goal quicker & 2 it will make you move 
  • Rate your Goal- write your Goal down & mark it out of 10 how bad do you want it if it is a 10 out of 10 put that out there where you can see it just to remind you how much the goal means to you it will give you focus on the goal & not weather 
  • Support- This is the time to maybe get that extra support for your goal.  pick someone that you know will work with you & tell them what your Goal is, how much you rate it & when you are doing it by ask your support partner to remind you once a day with a countdown it can be done via a text, call or what ever it is it can look like this.
